Pre Defined Subscriptions
Predefined subscriptions are the ones on which the merchant can define the amount, currency, subscription cycle and period. This can be set up to two different subscription cycles and periods with various amounts; e.g., if the merchant has a business where the shopper pays the first-month amount of 20.00 € and then each quartal 50.00 € endlessly as long as the shopper (or merchant) does not cancel this subscription. Refer to the following sample configuration in the Novalnet admin portal:
Steps to create a pre-defined tariff
1. Set the name of your subscription 2. Set the subscription type here as Predefined Subscription 3. Choose the currency here 4. First cycle with one month for 20.00 € 5. The following cycle runs each quartal with 50.00 € endlessly (as long as the subscription gets cancelled)
When you submit the tariff id of a predefined subscription tariff type in your payment request, only the amount value configured in the Novalnet admin portal will be used, irrespective of the amount value passed in the payment request. Therefore, the parameter “amount” is not mandatory in your payment request for executing a predefined subscription payment.
