MB WAY is the leading mobile wallet in Portugal. The customers having an account with MB Way will have their mobile numbers associated with their bank account. Once the customer enters the mobile number in website, they will receive the notification to pay from the MB Way APP and upon authentication, the purchase is completed in the store asynchronously.

How does MB Way work?
- At the online checkout, the shopper chooses MB WAY as their preferred payment method. Then they enter their mobile number.
- The shopper receives a payment request notification on their mobile device.
- The shopper selects their payment card, and accepts or rejects the payment details and amount.
- The shopper enters their PIN to authorise the payment.
- A "Payment authorised" message appears on the mobile device.
- The payment is confirmed on the merchant's website.
