WeChat is a Chinese app for social media networking and instant messaging. Additionally, the WeChat app acts as a digital wallet through WeChat Pay. Chinese shoppers in most parts of the world conveniently pay via WeChat Pay.
WeChat pay helps over 900 million shoppers worldwide to make frictionless payments. To make payments on the desktop, shoppers must have an official account on WeChat. Optionally shoppers can scan the QR code presented for payment through the WeChat mobile app. Besides, shoppers can pay directly from the mobile app when switching to the app in mobile commerce.
